I don't typically take the time to write online reviews, but I went to LPP about two weeks ago with a Groupon I purchased for a Haircut, Wash, Blowout, Conditioning Treatment, and Single-Process Color and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Amanda was very welcoming and accommodating from the moment we walked in the door and was encouragingly complimentary throughout the entire color application experience. Liz was very patient and helpful when it came to choosing the perfect color - I'm terribly indecisive - and I couldn't be happier with the resulting shade. Once my color was put through, I received my cut and I have to say I was amazed at how healthy my hair felt when it was done! I didn't realize how dead my ends had been and how much damage there was until she finished the cut and blow dry. I'm already in the process of planning out my next appointment to add an ombre to my color, and I can't wait to go back!! I've even sent the link to the FB page to all of my friends/family, particularly those with little princesses of their own. Plus, who doesn't love being treated like a princess again?! My Goddaughter and I had the best time today at the Pampered Princess Spa! We were treated like true princesses. The staff was so sweet and friendly. My Goddaughter can't wait to come back again with a friend. She loved it. The place is so cute and so fun. We will definitely be back!
What a horrible place to get any kind of work done to your hair. I had a Groupon for this place, which was probably a red flag to begin with. My Groupon was for a haircut, blowout, conditioning treatment, and partial highlights. Everything started out well, the highlights seemed to be put on correctly, but then I started noticing the highlights being put on underneath the top of my head (lowlights) and not the top, which is what highlights are. I kept waiting for the highlights to be put on, which never happened. When she began washing out my highlights, I was told that I was going to need toner because the highlights weren’t drying correctly. I said that’s really not acceptable, it’s not my fault the highlights aren’t being done the correct way. She said she would give me the toner but then wouldn’t charge me for it, okay great. Then, once she was done washing my hair she started combing and cutting and telling me how damaged my hair was. Yes, I realize that because I get my hair colored every few months, my hair is slightly damaged. I don’t need someone working on my hair to keep telling me how damaged my hair is. Then, she wasn’t cutting my layers the way I wanted. Once the haircut was done she started drying my hair. And my hair is LONG and very thick, so it does take a while to dry my hair. Midway through she stops and says that she can’t blow dry it because it’s just so damaged. I mentioned that my Groupon included a blowout but that was disregarded. I left with damp hair and basically 4 highlights scattered over my head. I thought that maybe once my hair dried the color would come through, it never did. I called and voiced my concerns and went back the next morning. She put more highlights on towards the top of my head, which she should have done the first time. Meanwhile, the whole time she kept telling me “oh you’re platinum blonde now!” - which couldn’t be further from the truth. For a second time, she didn’t blow dry my hair completely and this time she said, “I can’t blow dry your hair because it will take too long”. The highlights were a little better but I still wasn’t happy with the color. I asked for blonde and got more of a honey color. A few days later I noticed that my hair is broken at the top. I have a few extremely short hairs on the top of my head which is extremely disappointing. I would never return here for anything to do with my hair. I’ve been highlighting my hair for years and have never ever had my hair break off at the top - extremely unhappy with the highlight job and am currently planning on my next highlight job within the next few weeks rather then within the next months.
This place is so great for any age! My daughter had her 6th birthday here and it was a hit. The entire staff was so amazing to work with and ensured all the girls had a great time. We will definitely be back! Thank you for making my daughters special day extra special.
