But literally every person I talked to said that our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to. And I would have to agree!
The only thing I would change is that I wish someone would have been in charge of making sure my husband and I got the top tier of the cake back so we could freeze it and eat it on our one year anniversary.
Just had my daughters wedding here. Jason ,Michele,Tina and the whole staff were absolutely amazing. The care and attention that they provided to us and our guests was excellent. Every one told us what what a beautiful place this is.Jason and EVERYONE, took a beautiful day and made it PERFECT. I can not thank you enough for making my daughter's wedding a day we will never forget
The planning process was a joy. They incorporated our family traditions and little details that made the space feel like it was “ours”. They arranged every detail ahead of time and thought of everything, right down to the drinks we’d like delivered to us immediately following the ceremony.
I never thought that I would find myself thinking about my wedding venue and its staff almost a year after my wedding, but I do every day. To say that Rock Island Lake Club and the beautiful people that make it up simply deliver "quality service" is the biggest understatement. I have never met a group of people more happy, more generous, more hospitable, more willing to serve, and more loving than the crew at Rock Island. I can honestly say my wedding day was the best day of my life, and I owe so much of that to Rock Island. From the second my fiance and I stepped in the door to the moment my husband and I ran out through a tunnel of sparklers, Rock Island treated us as family. I gladly handed over all of my bridal responsibilities to them with no doubt in my mind that they would bring my dream wedding to life. I will never forget how I felt that day - so loved, blessed, and carefree - and I owe so much of that to these guys. The beautiful ballroom overlooking the lake, the overwhelmingly delicious assortment of foods at cocktail hour, and the whimsical ceremony location with the dainty birch arbor speak for themselves - but a wedding venue is nothing if you aren't treated well, respected, and valued by its staff. So Rock Island Crew, this review goes out to you guys - THANK YOU!
While the venue itself beautiful, with picturesque grounds and tasteful, rustic elegant décor, it’s really the people there that make this place so amazing. The owner, Perry, is always making upgrades to the property. The coordinators, Heather and Jamie, were quick to respond and did so with an enthusiasm that made planning stress-free. The maître d', Jason, is a wedding ninja. Our day was executed perfectly under his leadership. The chefs, bartenders, and bridal attendant were all professional and lovely. Even the waitstaff is personable and well trained. Everyone who works there made us feel special.
The wedding itself was executed seamlessly. Even last minute changes due to weather were handled calmly and confidently. It was obvious that the leadership at this venue clearly communicate to their extremely well trained staff, as nothing was overlooked. Rock Island handled all the timing of the day and made sure everyone and everything was in the right spot at the right time. Even our other vendors mentioned how lovely they were to work with.

I wish I could give this place 5000 stars. Before, during, and after our wedding, every single person at this venue did literally everything they could to make our day perfect. Their level of service is unparalleled, and their attention to detail is unlike anything I’ve ever seen.
In reviews, I generally try to highlight both pros and the cons so people can make an informed decision. I can honestly say I cannot think of a single additional thing this venue could have done better. I cannot say enough good things about Rock Island Lake Club and the people there that make it such a perfect place.
This venue has been absolutely amazing to work with. When I first met with them to decide which venue I wanted to have my wedding at I was instantly blown away with how accommodating they seemed to be. And from that point on they have not disappointed me. Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond for everything I wanted. On the day of my wedding they anticipated every single possible complication. They maitre d’s were wonderful. Margarita was with me from the beginning steaming my dress, helping me bustle it up, helping my girls in their dresses. She had to work extra hard with me but she was so great about the whole thing. Michael was over the top. He had such a great personality and was there for me and my husband for anything we could possibly need throughout the entire night. I truly felt like a princess. The only other thing I could ask for is that one of my friends has a wedding here so I can enjoy all the great food and enjoy the night as a guest. I’m jealous that they got to enjoy themselves while I had so many responsibilities to take care of.
This club is located on the edge of a nice pond in a quiet area. Staff was very polite and very good, which complimented the amazing food. The filet was top quality and perfectly cooked, followed by a large variety of desserts, all which were great! Very nice place for pictures on the water and nice views while eating. Really enjoyed the experience here and would recommend it to anyone looking to hold an event, just keep in mind the dining room seemed on the smaller side, limiting the size of a party.
